• Ensuring your manuscript is original or properly licensed
• Obtaining permissions for quoted or referenced material
• Confirming your work does not infringe on third-party rights
• Providing accurate personal and contact information
• Reviewing and approving all deliverables before publication

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms vary by service and are specified in individual agreements. Unless otherwise stated:

• Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced
• Final payment is due before publication
• Late payments may result in project delays

6. Confidentiality

Writer Sprout maintains confidentiality regarding your manuscript and project details. Your work is shared only with team members directly involved and authorized service providers under confidentiality agreements.

7. Limitation of Liability

Writer Sprout's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business opportunity.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

Services are provided "as is." Writer Sprout does not guarantee specific sales numbers, awards, or literary success. Publishing outcomes depend on multiple factors beyond our control, including market conditions and reader response.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Termination terms and refund policies are specified in individual service agreements.

10. Indemnification

Authors indemnify Writer Sprout against claims arising from the content of their manuscript, including claims of defamation, infringement, or privacy violations.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Oregon and the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
